All Terms and Conditions must be agreed before renting.

TRY ON’S
• All try-ons must be booked via the "Book Now" button.
• Please check that the garment is available in your size and for your event date before booking.
• If you and your friends are wanting to try, feel free to book back to back appointments
• We don’t hold garments for try-ons.
• Try-ons are $15 per person—try on as many styles as you like during your session.
• Book a dress within 24 hours and the $15 will be deducted from your hire. After that, it's non-refundable.
• If you’ve already booked a dress via DM, the $15 try-on fee won’t be deducted.
• Any damage during try-ons must be paid for.
• No pressure to commit—you’re welcome to take photos and decide later.
• Please come with no makeup and no fresh tan to keep garments clean.
PAYMENT
• Bookings are only confirmed once the dress is booked in
• We do not hold garments for try-ons—bookings are on a first in, best dressed basis unless payment is made.
CANCELLATIONS
• Cancellations made with 24+ hours’ notice will receive a store credit valid for 12 months from the cancellation date.
• If you've picked up a garment and want to swap it, this is only possible if your preferred item is available.
•if you have received your item via Australia post and unhappy, the item can be posted back immediately for a store credit – excluding the postage costs.
• Refunds are only issued if Hire Our Style cancels the booking due to garment damage or late return from a previous hire.
• In the case of unforeseen circumstances (e.g. pandemic), store credit will be issued but postage fees are not included—only the rental value is credited.
LATE FEES
• Returns are due Sunday or Monday, unless otherwise agreed during booking.
• If you need a longer rental period, this must be confirmed before payment.
• Postal returns must be express posted back within 2 days of your event (typically Monday) with a tracking receipt.
• For weekday hires (Mon–Thurs), garments must be returned the next day.
• Late fees apply at $10 per day if returned late, not express posted, or if tracking isn’t provided.
• If delays affect another customer, additional fees may be charged to cover cancellations or refunds.
POSTAGE
• All items are sent via AusPost Express – return postage included. Total cost: $28 return.
• A QR code return slip is sent with your order – just show it at the post office, no printing needed.
• Parcels must be lodged in person at a post office and a receipt shown.
• Do not place parcels in street boxes – this may result in late or missing item fees.
• If your item is delayed by AusPost, we’ll issue a credit (excluding postage). Refund for postage must be claimed through AusPost.
• Address errors or special postage requests (e.g. signature on delivery) may incur extra fees.
• If tracking shows a parcel delivered and it's missing, you’ll be liable for RRP replacement unless you’ve requested a no-drop delivery.
CLEANING
• Dry cleaning is included in your hire – please do not clean the item yourself.
• Attempting to clean a garment and causing damage will result in replacement fees (up to RRP).
• Please return garments in their original garment bag, if provided.
DAMAGE
• Treat garments with care. If you notice any damage when receiving your hire, send us a photo immediately.
• All pieces are inspected before rental, but light wear may exist.
• Any damage during your hire (rips, stains, missing zips, etc.) may result in charges up to full RRP.
• No alterations are allowed—any modification is considered damage and must be paid for.
• RRP is not listed on the website—please ask if you’d like to know before hiring.
REFUNDS
• We do not offer refunds for change of mind or cancellations.
• If cancelling with 24+ hours’ notice, you’ll receive a store credit (excluding postage), valid for 12 months.
• Try-ons are available to help with decision-making before hiring.
• No credit is provided for postage fees.
YOUR RENTAL ONLY
• Rentals are for the booked customer only – no garment sharing allowed.
• If someone else wants to wear the dress, please get in touch to organise a separate hire.
PICKUPS
• Garments are available for pickup 1-2 days before the event
• If you need to collect earlier, just contact us.
• No refunds will be issued if you're unable to collect during the pickup window.
